Local Youth Receives National Recognition: Linda Ellerbee and Nickelodeon News to Feature The Animal Care Network’s Jin Swartz of West Bloomfield
What: Linda Ellerbee will feature West Bloomfield’s own Jin Swartz on Nickelodeon News. The segment will focus on teenagers around the country that assist and rescue animals. Swartz, a 13-year old animal rescue volunteer from West Bloomfield, is a street team member of the Animal Care Network (ACN). ACN is hosting a viewing party in honor of the occasion. This event is open to the public and all ages are welcome. All patrons at the viewing party will be able to order from a full menu and 10% of all proceeds to benefit the Animal Care Network.

More info: ACN is a dedicated group of volunteers who spend time each weekend in low-income areas in suburban Wayne and Oakland counties providing relief to pets. The difference that ACN has made in the many neighborhoods they visit is phenomenal. Volunteers are not only dedicated to rescuing the animals, but are also committed to rehabilitating as well.
ACN has been helping animals for over 18 years. Over this time, ACN has become a well-known source of assistance and advice for thousands of citizens in the area and is considered a place for many pet owners to come to for help. Additional information on ACN may be found here.
