Spoil Your Pet This Spring and Help a Local Charity – A Win-Win!

 April 1, 2008 Detroit, MI – Pet Supplies “Plus” has once again teamed up with the Michigan Animal Adoption Network (MAAN) for a great fundraiser! Pet Supplies “Plus” is offering spring gift baskets for your dog or cat.  They are filled with toys and treats and are on sale now!  The baskets cost only $12 for cat baskets and $15 for dog baskets.  100 percent of the proceeds will benefit MAAN!

To date, the Michigan Animal Adoption Network has placed more than 4,000 animals through their Adopt-A-Pet program. Some are strays often picked up by volunteers; some are rescued from shelters; most are given up by their owners.

“Buying a basket truly is a win-win!  Your pet will get spoiled with a bunch of quality toys and treats and MAAN will receive donations to help keep our adoption program going strong,” said Marie Skladd, President of the Michigan Animal Adoption Network.

Spring baskets for dogs and cats are available at the following stores:

n  St. Clair Shores – Harper between 12 & 13 Mile Roads

n  Chesterfield Twp. – 23 Mile Road & Gratiot

n  St. Clair Shores – Greater Mack between 9 & 10 Mile Roads

n  Warren – Hoover between 10 & 11 Mile Roads
